"ซากดึกดำบรรพ์นี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบนิเวศทางทะเลในเขตร้อนเมื่อหลายร้อยล้านปีก่อน พบกระจายตัวอยู่ในเขตจังหวัด ตาก ซึ่งปัจจุบันเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีความสำคัญทางธรณีวิทยาระดับโลก"
